
An overall drop-off in consumer confidence rattled categories like apparel during the late-November start of the holiday season, but tech products in general, and Apple in particular, remained strong. Analysts have noted that the iPod has once again proven a robust seller, and interest in Mac's desktop offerings will likely continue to rise even as interest in desktops overall wanes.
