Apple, AT&T Accused of iPhone Monopoly
A federal lawsuit accuses Apple and AT&T of monopolistic behavior for blocking people from unlocking their iPhones in order to use them on other mobile networks. The suit, one of two filed recently against the pair of companies, accuses the two companies of conspiring to restrict consumer choices by releasing an update that rendered unlocked phones useless.
